TIPS
  1. Smooth maneuvering and excellent suspension are the most critical things to look for when purchasing a jogging stroller, as they have a significant effect on the quality of the ride.
  2. Locking brakes allow you to safely park the stroller even on inclined surfaces. Pick models with two sets of brakes for more stability.
  3. If you are a tall person, you may want to choose a stroller with adjustable handlebars.
  4. Jogging strollers that easily fold down are better for sports or outdoor activities like walking and running.

Pros: Comfortable seat, High quality, Built-in mp3 speaker, Inexpensive
    Cons: Small basket, Still heavy

Smooth maneuverability and extreme functionality make the InStep Grand Safari a great jogging stroller. It comes with great quality and packs a lot of features that can't be found on ordinary strollers. The built-in MP3 speaker keeps your baby relaxed and the faux lambskin seat pad creates a comfortable space for your little one. A child and parent tray with two cup holders each make sure that snacks, drinks and other valuables are always within reach. With regards to price, it is considerably lower than other models in the market. The Jogger is armed with spring suspension, front swivel wheels and 12” front and 16” rear pneumatic tires, which when combined make for a smooth and enjoyable ride. It also boasts a dual trigger folding mechanism that offers maximum safety and an adjustable, slip-resistant handle for added convenience and comfort. Minor quibbles include the short length of the MP3 cord and the canopy. The basket though useful is also small and not easily accessible. This high-performance stroller provides the extra set of hands that most parents need. The two color combinations: Pink/Tan/Gray and Gray/Yellow give it a unique, sporty look. Weighing 33.08 lbs, the InStep Grand Safari can be considered lighter than competing models. However, it is still not comparable and not as portable as the regular ones.

Pros: Easy to push, Great set of safety features, Multi-position canopy, Reasonable price, Compact build
Cons: Underneath storage is small and hard to access, Odd shape of footrest

For the price, the InStep Safari is an excellent jogging stroller. The adjustable, slip-resistant handle and 2” front and 16” rear pneumatic tires make it easy to push and maneuver. It can hold children up to 50 lbs each and is also suitable for use with most car seats including Cosco, Eddie Bauer and Safety 1st. There are a total of two trays for the single stroller (one for the parent, one for your child) and three trays for the double version. Each of which has two cup holders for bringing drinks and milk bottles. They are also made movable to ensure that they'll not get in the way when removing your child from the stroller. This swivel-wheel jogger is available in pink and green as well as in single and double versions. Total weight are 31.31 lbs and 37.04 lbs respectively, when assembled. Being compact, it folds easily and fits comfortably in your trunk. However, there are a few nitpicks. While there is a storage basket underneath, it is pretty small and difficult to access. The footrest is also oddly shaped. This may not be an issue for those with small babies but it can be a disadvantage for those with bigger children. In summary, the InStep Safari Swivel-Wheel Jogger is not perfect but it has built-in safety features that make it a good buy. It is armed with a 5-point harness, a dual trigger folding mechanism and lockable front wheel which when combined, make for a safe and smooth ride. It is also easy to assemble and has multi-position canopies that protect your children from the sun.

Pros: Foldable Double Jogging stroller, Great suspension system, Built-in mini speakers for portable audio devices
Cons: 40-inch height capacity, Small storage compartment with no other pockets

Keeping fit while spending time with the kids is no longer a problem with the Schwinn Turismo Swivel Double Jogger. As the name implies, it can carry two kids in its comfortable and plush seating area while mom and dad hit the road. The excellent suspension system provides a smooth and bump-free ride all throughout. The frame of the Schwinn Turismo Jogger is made of aluminum for a strong yet light body, plus a wide wheelbase for greater stability. It also folds down for easy transport. The front wheel measures 12 inches and 16 inches for the back wheels. By default, the front wheel swivels freely and is easily maneuverable, but it can be locked into a straight-line position using the control button located at the handlebar in order to adjust to a height that is more convenient for joggers. The seatbelts can be adjusted to one of three different heights too. The reclining seat is a little higher than usual, with the maximum passenger height being a little less than 40 inches tall. On the other hand, a car seat adapter for babies will fit in easily. Both the parents and the kids get their own caddies with built-in cup holders that have rubber inserts as well. For the music lovers, the Schwinn Turismo has included mini-speakers for MP3 players, attached to the canopy of the jogger. It loses a few points in the storage area though. While it has a storage compartment underneath the seats, the compartment itself is quite small and the jogger has no other pockets to stow things into. In addition, a cross bar attached near the opening tends to get in the way when placing in or retrieving items.

Pros: Excellent build quality, Holds up to 100 pounds, Quickly folds down, Sturdy wheels, Fits some car seat models
Cons: Some accessories are optional, Handlebar is not adjustable

Bringing your little ones along when running errands has become much easier with the Baby Jogger 2011 City Mini Double Stroller. It can hold a total maximum weight of 100 pounds, which is more than enough to support even small children. While it is wider and more cumbersome because of the double seating capacity, moms will love the City Mini because it doesn't weigh as much as other products and it folds down to a nearly flattened size that is manageable even by a single person. Its maneuverability is top-notch, steering and moving more like a single stroller than a large one, and can easily roll over different types of terrain without any difficulty. The six wheels of the City Mini all measure 8 inches in diameter and are arranged with four in front and two at the back. It also has locking brakes at both ends for safety. The back brakes, in particular, are exceptional in that they only require a step to engage and snaps up to an angle out of the way of your feet. The tires are made of high-quality EVA plastic with sealed ball bearings that require no further lubrication. The handlebar, while non-adjustable, is set to an optimum height. The 2011 City Mini sports a full retractable canopy that completely shields the stroller's passengers from the elements, but also has sun windows with resealable flaps. In addition, it has a back rest that reclines to an almost fully horizontal position, effectively doubling the depth of the seat. The webbing that holds the top of the back rest to the stroller's frame also doubles as a canopy, giving more coverage for a single price of purchase. The seat comes with a five-point safety harness that securely holds your children in place. Some infant car seat adapter models also fit within the stroller so there's no need to remove babies from their seats just to put them into another one. Underneath the seat is the luggage storage area. The only possible complaint we have about the 2011 City Mini stroller is that it does not come with any sort of add-ons built in or included with the purchase. The rain cover and cup holder that is nearly a staple with other strollers are separate accessories with this particular stroller. This equates to additional costs on top of the already considerable price of this model. However, considering the excellent build quality of the Baby Jogger 2011 City Mini Double Stroller, this oversight may easily be overlooked.

Pros: Good construction, Easy to push, Lots of extras, Very reasonable price for quality
Cons: May not be right size for all children, Canopy is not adjustable, Large size

While there are many other more expensive strollers that cost upward near $1,000 or more, we love the BOB Revolution Jogger not just because it's available for hundreds of dollars less than other brands. Overall, this stroller is very smooth and works really well. We love the little "window" on the canopy that lets you look down at your little one when you're pushing them. As far as steering goes, this stroller is an absolute dream. If you are looking for a stroller that feels like you are pushing it around on air with assistance from an unseen force, you want to look closer at this stroller. With a super solid construction and a low price - when you consider the quality and the stylish design - you cannot go wrong with this BOB Revolution Jogger stroller. It may be a bit expensive if you only use a stroller infrequently, but if you are active with your baby and do jog with them, you are going to want to invest the money in this stroller. You may want to shop around a little more if you are on a strict budget, but if you want the best for you - and your baby - this stroller / jogger is the way to go.

Pros: Quick-fold technology, Full recline, Multi-position canopy, All wheel suspension
Cons: Heavy, High price, No child tray and parent tray included

The Baby Jogger Summit XC creates a longer list of possibilities for both the parents and their children. Aside from going to the mall, grocery store or park, this innovative stroller allows you to take your kid with you while you jog. The patented all-wheel suspension combined with the rear brakes and quick-release pneumatic tires enable smooth navigation in all kinds of terrain while the exclusive quick-fold technology makes it easily collapsible. It also comes with a handful of useful features including a lockable front wheel, a universal accessory mounting bracket, a rear parking brake and backseat compartments and underneath storage perfect for bringing baby essentials like toys and diapers. Unlike other models, its handlebar is longer and its padded seat can be fully reclined in order to bring maximum comfort to sleeping children. The five-point safety harness has shoulder pads and the adjustable canopy also offers versatile positioning. This single stroller can hold up to 75 lbs. There are no child tray and parent tray included but fortunately, you can purchase optional accessories. It even comes in three eye-catching colors: red, blue and sand. On the contrary, the Baby Jogger Summit XC is heavier and bigger compared to standard strollers. Its price is also a little high. Parents who are looking for an everyday stroller may want to check other models such as the Baby Jogger City Mini or City Elite.
