IntelliReview Summary: The most common complaint about these headphones with reviewers who gave them a one star rating on Amazon was the construction - with repeated use, the tiny plastic joints used for many of the hinges began to wear out. However the majority of reviewers were pleased enough by the sound quality to give this product a five star rating, citing the bass as particularly impressive. A few reviewers even commented that perhaps the bass was too overwhelming for everyday use, instead recommending them solely for DJs, though other reviewers disagreed. If you enjoy bass-heavy genres, these might be the perfect headphones for you.

Spotlight Review from an Amazon Consumer: "Impressive"
I've been looking for a pair of noise cancelling headphones. I'm a student so I can't afford the Bose. After a great deal of searching I found my perfect pair. The sound quality is very good, though admittedly not the best. The ear cushions are comfortable. The noise cancelling is very effective. And the materials are of good quality. They come with a carrying case that will help durability in my back pack.

They're an excellent buy. This is perfect for budget conscious individuals and/or students who simultaneously expect quality craftsmanship.

Comfort was also a positive of this product, with almost no one complaining about them even after extended periods of use. IntelliReview Summary: Even the two-star reviews for this product on Amazon mentioned how comfortable these headphones are. Also, the noise-cancellation was highly praised. One reviewer even mentioned that for him, this product helped cancel out an estimated ninety percent of the engine noise during an airplane ride. With the various chords and the portable case these headphones can go just about anywhere. The most critical comments were that the sound quality isn't great until they're broken in and you have to find the right sound setting for them to sound great. Also, many people complained about the price but said that if you can find them for a discount, then they're well worth the investment.

Sennheiser PXC 350 Active Noise Cancellation Headphone (Black)
IntelliReview Summary: Other than stellar comments, there was very little said for these headphones at Amazon. Of the many five stars reviews, the most commonly admired feature was the noise cancellation. They were also reported to be very comfortable, even during extended periods of use. Overall constructions and sound quality were also thoroughly applauded. Some negative features were both the price and the size of the headphones. They are large enough to not only be an inconvenience in certain situations, but also not necessarily be the best fit for smaller people. With a slew of five star reviews, this product seems like a great investment for the serious audiophile who wants the very best sound experience possible for the money.

Spotlight Review from an Amazon Consumer: "Best or both worlds"
First of all I love music and headphones I loved my sony EX85 but I wanted more bass and I got it with these headphones as I look back on them the xb40s give you more clear highs as well as that booming bass it advertises.I Iove the flat cord on them it helps a lot when u stuff them in ur pocket like I do, the most impressive thing on these is the y-cord on them I thought Sony had forgotten how to make these cuzz any high end buds are only offered in a weird neckchain thing that I hate. Overall these headphones are very good and worth every penny if you love bass and wanna keep good highs then these are for you.

Sony MDR-XB20EX 9mm High Sensitivity Driver Extra Bass EX Earbuds
Spotlight Review from an Amazon Consumer: "Booming bass. Okay Mid/High. Considerably great!"
I purchased this pair of in-ear earbuds because of the brand 'Sony'. I wouldn't risk my money on other brands. This is exactly the product i want. I needed a pair of bass driven headphones for my iPod. The bass is not overwhelmed if you got the EQ right. As a matter of fact, you can simply turn your EQ to 'off' for better mid balance.

The earbud arms are quite big. I wish it could be more subtle like those Panasonic ones. Then it won't have any threat of scratching your iPod when you leave them in your bag or pocket. The flat cord on this headphones is rubbery. Please don't expose it to direct sunlight and sweat or it'll really decay fast.

As far as i know there's only 1 color (black) available. I wanted a silver one but oh well..i'll figure something out later.
