In addition, this 22" monitor is compatible with both PC and Mac systems and boasts a non-reflective screen, a 10,000,000:1 MEGA Dynamic Contrast Ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, a 5ms response time and built-in stereo speakers. It uses touch spots instead of buttons for controls and has DVI and VGA inputs for easy connectivity. On the other hand, this monitor does not have an HDMI interface, nor does it have USB inputs. . Its base also has no height adjustments and doesn't swivel. It only tilts forward and backward so if you don't have a tall desk then you might need to put something under it. If you're also considering this LED monitor because of the integrated speakers then you should find another one because audio quality is not this monitor's strongest point. In terms of appearance, it is very slim and sleek. Its piano black finish can be a fingerprint magnet but it complements any decor and will make a great addition to any room. It also gives you the option to mount it on the wall or on a VESA compliant stand. What most people like about the ViewSonic VX2250WM is its astounding color and contrast that does not need a lot of calibration. Overall, it's a great monitor for the price and it has excellent image quality that will leave you more than impressed.

Then again, with something this good, who would want to? The eye-candy is not limited to the output, as the elegant exterior makes for a great counterpart to the strength of the monitor. 23 inches of widescreen space encased in a sleek black shell complements most desktop real estate. The base, going by some reports, can be somewhat wobbly, so be careful not to jostle the monitor around too much. HDMI and DVI ports serve as its main interfaces. While it is embedded with two 1W stereo speakers, it is recommended to hook up a nice set of speakers for enhanced audio quality. The viewing angles of this LED monitor needs improvement. The height of the stand cannot be adjusted and the tilt angles are not the best. It would've also been better if it is constructed with a matte bezel rather than the glossy type. Otherwise, it makes a compelling choice for the purpose of multimedia enjoyment as well as professional use. It flaunts a slim bezel, a great screen size and an outstanding screen resolution. It also provides outstanding Full HD 1080p widescreen performance. The 2ms Response Time guarantees no motion blur of any kind when watching sports or movies with high-speed scenes and the 10,000,000:1 ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio delivers brilliant and vivid colors. Given all these features, the VE278Q is a premier choice for multimedia use, as well as for professionals who need a big screen. The Splendid Video Intelligence Technology pays attention to all the aspects necessary to display a clear and good picture. 4 Color Temperature modes and 3 Skin Tone modes ensure the best color. To suit different purposes, PIP (Picture in Picture) function and six preset video modes such as Scenery, Theater, Game, Night View, sRGB and Standard are easily selectable through a Hotkey.
