Projector technology has come a long way over the years. Today, they are not only ideal for business and school presentations, they can also be part of your home theater. DLP projectors come in many price ranges, styles and have many different features available. No matter what you want, IntelliReview has the best DLP projectors around. We harvest numerous reviews from various websites and calculate the product ranking using these reviews. Simply put, a positive review represents a positive vote and a negative review translates into a negative vote. If you need a DLP projector with HDMI inputs or you're just looking for a great unit you can use at home, we can help you. Our proprietary formula allows us to choose only the top projectors. By browsing from this "short list" of great products, you can concentrate on other things like price or features. Here at IntelliReview, we make choosing the top projector easy, safe and even a little fun. Start browsing below to find the projector of your dreams.

TIPS
  1. Lower-resolution DLP projectors are suited for basic uses like presentations, while high-resolution models, once attached to a suitable source, can display even high-definition images of up to 720p.
  2. Look for models with automatic keystone correction so projected images won't appear skewed even when thrown against a screen that stands at an angle.
  3. DLP projectors that can run in Eco Mode consume less power, which in turn, makes the bulbs inside last longer, so check for the availability of this feature.
  4. Projector bulbs will eventually burn out, pick models that offer a quick way to replace burned-out bulbs.

Pros: High definition 720p output, Brilliant colors, Automatic keystone correction
Cons: Minor calibration might be needed, Only includes basic RCA cable

For people looking to turn their high-definition setup into the ultimate home theater system, a brilliant output of 2500 lumens for color and 2500 of white light gives the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 705HD top ranks in digital projection options and makes it a recommended choice. It throws a crystal-clear picture at 720p from as far as 29 feet away from the screen. The 200-watt E-TORL bulb is rated to last over 5000 hours on the projector's Eco mode (4000 on normal mode), and can easily be replaced once it burns out. An automatic digital keystone correction immediately adapts and corrects images to prevent distortion even if the projector is skewed up to a 30-degree angle. A set of ports provide maximum connectivity and allow it to be used with a host of different equipment with HDMI connectors, Type A and B USB ports, Component Video and Digital S-video forming an array at the back of the unit. While this LCD projector has speakers, it is still recommended to use separate speakers for audio output. A remote controller makes it easy to change settings, especially when the projector is mounted to a ceiling. Usage-wise, the Epson PowerLite is above par for digital projection equipment. Colors are as bright as when viewed from an actual digital screen, especially when connected via HDMI. On the other hand, black levels may vary depending on the source of the projection. Minor calibration can correct this, though. USB playback is best for still images rather than video because of some lag issues, so it is better to insert the USB key to a computer and let it handle the decoding. Finally, it only comes with an RCA cable (the old red, white and yellow ones) so be sure to get specialty cables along with the unit.
