Pros: Wireless, Good sound quality, Small footprint, Has an aux in and headphone jack
Cons: No option to use batteries
Review: More often than not, compact speakers don't produce clear sound and enough bass to make you groove or even move you. The Creative Inspire T12, on the other hand, redefines the quality of sound that you can get from mid-range speakers. If you are a fan of wireless functionality and you've always wanted to de-clutter your workspace, the two Bluetooth connection options rated at a range of up to 10 meters on the Inspire T12 are a real treat. You can hook up your iPhone or iPod to your speaker using the Creative BT-D5 Bluetooth transmitter; for PCs, netbooks, mp3 players, smart phones or any other Bluetooth device, you can use the Bluetooth sync button embedded in front of the unit. Those who own PCs that are not Bluetooth capable can still experience its great sound by adding a USB Bluetooth adapter like the Creative BT-D1 Bluetooth USB transmitter to your computer set-up. A power or wireless connection indicator LED signals when your speaker is turned on or when your devices are successfully connected. Even without a subwoofer, the built-in BassFlex technology puts out surprisingly strong bass that matches any music genre. The T12 also provides sufficient volume and superior audio accuracy with its full-range drivers. So if your main purpose is to watch movies or listen to music, these wireless speakers will leave you impressed. Sound is on par with higher-priced speakers and the volume control permits easy volume adjustment. A headphone jack and an auxiliary input are likewise ready for use. Since wireless technology is relatively new for speakers, you'll still need to use a power adapter and connect the left speaker to the right. The option to use standard batteries is unavailable yet. At roughly half the size of higher-end computer speakers, the Creative Inspire T12 fits any desk arrangement while giving you enough space to move. The glossy black finish and thin profile also lets you dress up your desktop.
